/ About

Background

I’m a mechanical engineer with a hands-on background spanning construction, steel fabrication, oil and gas pipeline robotics, and real estate development. My career has kept me at the intersection of engineering, execution, and stakeholder coordination — working alongside project managers, subcontractors, designers, and end users to get things built and running.

I’m now directing my focus toward prosthetics and assistive technology. The gap between what’s possible and what’s accessible is wide, especially for children and veterans. I want to help close it by working on devices that are functional, manufacturable, and affordable for the people who need them most.

My technical foundation includes materials science, mechanics of materials, dynamic systems, thermofluids, and controls — with tools like SolidWorks, MATLAB, and Simulink. Comfortable in Python, Java, and LabVIEW, and have applied Agile and TQM frameworks in both engineering and operational contexts.

Outside of work: golf, classic cars, camping, and national parks. Rocky, Winry, and Nyx make sure I don’t spend too much time at the desk.
